okay i really wanna know how long it will take. i do 230 situps, 50 crunches, 50 pushups, and 40 10-pound weight lifts. i am 12 years old about to turn 13 in october, 5’6″, and i weight 125 pounds. my diet is usually i piece of toast in the morning, grilled chicken with sauce at lunch, and salad at dinner. snacks are chewy granola bars, bananas, smoothies and strawberries. occasionally i have pop tarts and cheez its. please tell me!(:

you need more protein!!!!! like meat and milk and stuff to build muscle
If you want to build up muscle, you need to quit eating the sugary snacks like pop tarts and chewy granola bars and eat more veggies and high quality lean protein and in general eat more food. It takes calories to build/strengthen your body! You also have to have the physical maturity to produce the hormones you need. That means you need to be patient and get a few more months and years behind you. The exercises you are doing are more than enough to keep you in shape-but you should also include cardio to keep your heart healthy throughout your life. Don’t forget to take care of your mind and spirit, too. Having a good life is more than looking good. Be well!
