Hi, I wouldn’t recommend that. You need to have good form when doing this exercise and you want to engage all of your core so I recommend performing this standing. Thanks for your question
)
Can you do this while sitting on a weight bench? Would it be as effective?
@ilovedarladoo1777 Hi, yes it does help build strength in your arms. Glad you liked the video
)
Wow! I gotta say thanks so much for this video! I tried this exercise just today and I felt it working immediately! I know this is for your obliques but does this also work your arms as well because of the weights you use when you do this exercise?
Hi, concentrate on doing it with correct form. Be sure you are not leaning forward when you do it, you want to make sure you are using your ab muscles. Usually this exercise leaves people with sore muscles the next day, so don’t be surprised if you feel that.
please help! im doing this but i cannot feel it working at all .
??????????????
thankk u!!
!
Umm… When you work your obliques via this exercise you should only have a dumbbell in one had at a time. Think about how an elevator works – it has the car filled with people counterweighted by a big heavy piece of metal. Since it has a counterweight the motor doesn’t have to work as hard. The same principle applies to this exercise. By having a dumbbell in each hand you’re not hitting your obliques as much as they would be otherwise.
Awesome this seems like a really good workout I’ll definitely give it a go!!!
Thanks for the advice ^___^
You would be a great personal trainer ;D
Absolutely! It will rev your metabolism and get rid of any excess fat that may be covering your gorgeous ab muscles
)
thank you for this video!!! Um would sit-ups and jogging help?
The best product for losing weight i’ve ever tried.

This exercise is phenomenal. I am a young male and all the ab crunches are working but not to the extent that i want. This basically completes my core exercise! I’d also like to note that lifting your other hand to your armpit is necessary. thanks!
Hi, no, just years of experience with what works and a lot of personal reading and time spent with trainers.
Do you have a degree or anything in physical fitness?
thanks
Absolutely!
Hi, I would do them 3 times a week. You should feel them the next day and you should see results in about 2 weeks.
@YouTips4U Thank you! I tried these exercises today at the gym and I will do a few more each time. Thx!!
thanks it really worked.. hope you add more videos take care,, God bless!
is this excerise good for men?
How long and often should a person do these techniques and see results? Your abs look amazing and it is obvious that your results do pay off! I’m willing to give it a try although I haven’t done this in a long time !! I need all the help I can get! Thanks!
Hi, you may need to up your intensity a bit to challenge your body. Your body may be very used to the level of exercise you’re at. Also, be sure you are maintaining a healthy balance diet and have not been adding excess empty calories.
Hi, yes it helps to burn belly fat, it’s more of an exercise to define your waist and abs. To really burn belly fat, you must do cardio exercises like running, jogging, swimming, aerobics classes, etc.
