YouTips4U – Great Crunch Sit Ups Routine for Flat Abs Washboard Stomach Weights
To purchase a youtips4u Custom Designed T-Shirt, please click here: cgi.ebay.com For more helpful tips, please visit me at: www.youtips4u.blogspot.com Hi, in this video I show you how to do my ab routine for achieving a flat toned stomach and a strong core. My featured tip uses weights in order to expedite achieving strong abdominal muscles in less time while using traditional crunches. You don’t have to spend enormous amounts of time doing situp routines if you use proper form and concentrate on using your abdominal muscles properly. Please give it a try. You will see results! Remember good form is the key and so is consistency. I never leave the gym without doing my ab work. A strong core will help your back as well if you suffer from back problems. Be careful when adding weights to your routine if you have any type of neck or back injury. You don’t want to make it worse. Start with light weights if you are new to using weights. I hope this video was helpful! I welcome any comments you might have! Please remember to Subscribe!!! There’s more to come!

Absolutely. If it helps you perform the sit ups correctly, by all means definitely put your feet under something. Sometimes a couch that’s low to the floor is also helpful.

Hey, thank you so much for these videos
I’m a teenager and searched on youtube after being advised to do exercise etc to help with stress (and I’d like to become fitter and firm up my stomach!)
I was just wondering if it was okay for me to do these, and I found it quite hard to keep my feet in the same place – so could I put them under something sturdy, like with crunches (e.g. the edge of a desk)? Hope that makes sense, thank you again

@san14ful Run for at least one hour non stop. u need to burn calories best thing is get a treadmill even if it is manual.
if u cant run, do a power walk on the treadmill but atleast for one hour a day, every day of the week.
Doing sit ups wil not burn any fat,nor will it give u point fat reduction.
You will have to do atleast one hour of either walking, running, swiming, cycling, eliptical trainer, jogging.
15 minutes a day wont do anything. honestly u will really have leg it.

Hi, you are doing a great job with your exercise. You have had four children, so that can take a toll on your tummy. You will have to give it time to respond to exercise, especially if you did not get back into prepregnancy weight after each baby was born. Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll always want to practice portion control with your eating. Together with a healthy diet and exercise you will be on your way to a new fitter you.

Hi, a 10 minute ab routine every other day will really help firm up your tummy. Please remember that it does take time for your body to respond. So keep working and be consistent with your exercise and you will definitely see results

Hi, when you exercise for one hour, what else are you doing in addition to the 15 minute run because you really need to spend at least 30 minutes doing cardio exercise like running to effectively burn calories. If 15 minutes is the most you can comfortably run for now, that’s o.k., but then walk for the rest of the time. You need to keep your body moving for at least 30 minutes. Then I would suggest some weight training and resistance exercises and ab work.

Hi, I haven’t found an alternative to the plate weights for this particular exercise. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have these weights in order to get in great shape. You can do the other types of sit ups and I have lots of other ab videos you can add to your routine.

Thank u sooo much for your tips. I began working out with my boyfriend who had me training as if I were going for a gold medal in the Olympics. Your tips are just what I needed This will get me where I want to be. I will include cardio. Now are jumping jacks ok? I am shopping around for a fitness center and I am going to purchase a bike for the summer( I live in Chicago). Thanks again your tips were on point for me.

Hi, controlled movements with proper form will always yield the best results. If you go too fast, momentum takes over and you use less muscle to move your body.
March 8th, 2010 at 7:54 pm
actually i have been doing this too… but if u look on my way, i am doing sit up with moving fast. maybe 300 times in a day. ( but step by step, 30 times stop and start again)…would it be that efficient to get six pack? thanx for ur information.. : )

As for intensity, you should be doing cardio at a pace at which you cannot carry on a conversation without being breathless. If you can talk easily to a friend, then you need to speed it up a bit. You’ll know when you’re working hard
)

You should do at least 30 minutes of cardio followed by ab work, and weight training. You can use either dumbbells or weight machines if you belong to a gym. Some cardio exercises I recommend would be jogging, walking, cycling, swimming cardio machines (i.e.stairmaster, elliptical, treadmill, etc.). If you like exercise classes, that’s great. I do love yoga, but I take classes very infrequently due to lack of time.

Hi, if you are interested in learning what I do, please visit my blogspot. So many people asked me, so I posted it. Keep in mind though, that what I do, I have worked my way up to in order to continue to challenge my body and maintain my needed fitness level. If you are just starting out, you’ll want to start out smaller. You will quickly be able to add more and more as you become fitter and fitter. You should exercise at least 3-4 days a week.

Can you tell me how often and how much exercise you do to look like this? You look awesome! I feel overwhelmed because:
1. I dont know how much cardio to do (ie. running) and at what intensity
2. how often/how much time lifting wts
3. I see you recommend @ 10 min. of abs 3 xs/wk.
4. Is there anything else that you do ie. yoga?
I’m working on my diet but really dont know how much to exercise, how often and for how long, and what intensity. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi, if you can get outside on days that are a bit warmer, walking is wonderful exercise. You should do it for at least 30 minutes. Try to keep a brisk pace. For those days you just can’t get out, try some aerobics DVDs. You can take them out at your local library to try them out and if you find one your really like that suits your pace, you can buy it and do it regularly. You will have a lot of fun trying the different videos. Try Kathy Smith, I used to do her tapes and loved her.

I have quite a few other abs workout videos posted. Please take a look at them when you have time and develop a routine that you can do for about 10 minutes every other day. You will also need to do cardio exercises to burn excess fat and calories and for overall health and fitness.
