Best Diet To Get Six Pack Abs Fast

Article by Fred Martimes

A major step towards getting six pack abs, is creating a diet plan that fits your bodyweight. By doing this you will get the absolute most out of the time you spend working out. And if you don’t do this you may toil for hours on end exercising and working out and getting absolutly no where!

So lets take a quick look at what goes into the best six pack abs diet. First off your going to need carbohydrate. You may have heard elsewhere that you need as low carbs as possible. But I assure you that you will want to be eat carbs so your body continue to run on full energy.

You see, without carbs your bodies energy levels will start to crash and when this happens you will actually decease in muscle not gain it. Because your body will have no energy to build new muscle tissue.

Divide your bodyweight by two and this is how much carbs you need to consume in grams. Make sure you consume carbohydrate before your exercises and after, as this is the time that your body will need it the most.

Protein is the next component to getting six pack abs. This can be found in meat like Beef, Pork and fish. It’s critical that you get enough because these are literally the building blocks for your body. So without them you won’t be able to build even a pound of muscle because your body won’t have the raw materials to make the tissue.

Of course your diet right now will contain some protein, but you should try to be eating about 1.5 grams per pound of your bodyweight for best results. In addition to this you should consume 20 grams of protein in your pre-workout meal and another 20 grams in your post-workout meal.

For this diet you will still need to get your fats. Fat is what keeps a lot of your bodies functions running, so the minute you stop eating fat you’ll body will not be able to build muscle as fast. Multiply your bodyweight by 0.2 and this is how much fat you need in grams.

I see so many people trying to get six pack abs by doing crunches, leg raises, sit ups and lots more abdominal exercises but they still get know where. They don’t realize that doing these types of workouts won’t reduce the belly fat thats covering their abs! They’d be able to lose there fat right away if they ate less calories, kept to an eating plan like this one and did some cardio training.

So only eat 10 calories for each pound of your weight. Of course you’ll realize that this is significantly less than you would normally eat, but as soon as this abs diet starts to kick in you’ll be thanking me for it.

You now have the principles you need to build your own six pack diet – get started. Some foods that you might want to include are: quinoa, lentils, pork, egg whites and lamb. Those are some personal favourites of mine that I’ve had some good success with in the past.

Take a look at the best six pack workout program…

Flat Stomach Workout Tips

Flat Stomach Workout Tips

Article by Miss Wall

Summer is just around the corner and every magazine or article you read online is all about the best flat stomach workout. You see people in the gym doing hundreds of crunches everyday and others spend hours walking miles on the treadmill. Yet, when you look at these people they are nowhere close to having a flat stomach – how come?

First of all, they’ve taken the wrong approach in their flat stomach workout. Crunches alone will not get you a flat stomach, there is so much else to consider. I’m not going to tell you NOT to do them, but you need to consider what else is going on. What are they eating? Diet is a super important part of any flat stomach workout. If you are going to the gym and then eating a hot dog, cheeseburger and fries for your post-workout meal – well, then you’re not going to get a flat stomach. On the opposite end of the spectrum not eating at all will not help you get a flat stomach either. Starving yourself only makes your body weaker and doesn’t help you get a flat stomach. Why are they spending all that time walking on the treadmill? This type of cardio is not effective or efficient for losing weight and getting a flat stomach. Plus, who has the time to spend hours walking on the treadmill? As you can tell by the people on the treadmill, they have spent the time walking, but the flat stomach is nowhere to be seen. Also, are they doing any weight lifting program? No, this doesn’t mean that you need to spend hours lifting weights and that you’re going to become a super muscular person. Adding a weight lifting program to your flat stomach workout will only help you burn fat faster and build muscle, that helps you continue to burn fat after your workouts.Make sure you are doing crunches. If you aren’t doing ANY crunches, you aren’t going to get any results. Crunches and ab work, such as cable crunches, hanging leg raises or reverse crunches are all necessary parts of your flat stomach workout. However, in order to get the flat stomach of your dreams, you must take into consideration these aspects.

TheTop 8 Bad Ab Exercises to Avoid (Part 1 )

TheTop 8 Bad Ab Exercises to Avoid (Part 1 )

Article by Alan

We are often being bombarded with the constant flow of information from infomercial on the various types of ab exercises. However, are all the ab exercises really that effective as promised? Well, in actual fact, not all exercises are as effective as they promised. As a matter of fact, some exercises can actually cause adverse effects on our body. Knowing the difference between exercises and EFFECTIVE exercises will help a great deal in your journey of ” how to get 6 pack abs ” the effective way.

Do keep in mind that the ultimate aim of any of your ab exercises should be STRIPPING away that irritating piece of flabby abdominal fats and concurrently DEVELOPING your abdominal muscles.

Not all exercises are able to achieve that. That’s why, in this article, I will highlight the TOP 8 bad abs exercises that should be avoided at all times and they are:

1) Lying straight-legged leg raises (first 45 degrees off of floor, one leg at a time or both at the same time)2) Hanging leg raises with an arched back3) Sit-ups4) ANY machine-based ab exercise5) ANY machine-based twisting exercise6) Torso Twists7) Standing Toe-Touches8) Crunches

1st bad ab exericse to avoid – Lying Straight-legged leg rises

This exercise is only good for exercising the LOWER abdomen but NOT for your abs. Don’t waste your precious workout time on this exercise if your goal would be to develop your abs.

2nd bad ab exericse to avoid – Hanging leg raises with an arched back

When the back is arched, the leg raises is useless in building the abs. Hanging leg raises only works great when you are doing it with a straight back.

3rd bad ab exericse to avoid – Sit-ups

Sit-ups are usually done while anchoring your feet or keeping the legs straight along the floor. The hands are then kept behind the head or neck, and the upper body is then being lifted. Doing sit-ups this way actually strain the lower back and will tend to target the muscle of the hips and thighs rather than the abdomen.

4th bad ab exercise to avoid – machine based abs exercise

All these so called amazing abs machines are designed and built for the sole purpose of mere strengthening of the abdominal muscles. When it comes to burning abdominal fats, these machines or gadgets are totally useless! Moreover, the machines are still far less effective than floor, hanging and standing abs exercises.

I will be covering the last 4 bad ab exercises to avoid in my article “The Top 8 Bad Ab Exercises to Avoid (Part 2 )”

Flat Abs for Life

Flat Abs for Life

Article by Bud Truman

The main attribute people usually crave to improve their body is flat abs. It’s great to be toned all over, but that flat toned stomach look is the main focus. However, one of the common misconceptions is that to obtain those mega-flat abs, you need to do lots of abs specific exercises. This is not true.

Some programs advocate crunches and sit-ups. Actually these are pretty ineffective unless you have basically no fitness at all. I am presuming you have made some effort to improve your body shape but haven’t had too much success so far. This is probably because you have read lots of articles and tried to do a bit of everything without sticking to a specific plan.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have an approved Program to follow to gain those flat abs. A Program will guide you through every stage of gaining your new toned body and at those points where you would have diversified into some other training method because you weren’t seeing results, it will keep you on track and explain the plateaus and muscle growth spurts that occur throughout any good Muscle Building Program.

Having stated how ineffectual crunches and sit-ups are, you need to know what really is important. The key word here is Resistance. Any exercise that incurs resistance and balance will be working those abs. You naturally tighten your core and therefore your abs in any exercise that involves pressure and that is why there is no need to concentrate on abs specifically.

Hanging leg raises are just one exercise that has an amazing effect on your abs when done correctly and this is achieved by curling your pelvis as you lift your legs forward. Swings and snatches, which are intense exercises, are also superb.

The important rules which cannot be avoided are intensity rather than quantity and cutting out processed food. If you continue to pile in junk food, your abs have no chance of becoming lean. Try to aim for natural goodness, eliminating the need for supplements and your fat burning and metabolic rate will increase, consequently leading to flat abs.

I have just touched the surface of how to gain flat abs. To find out more and Check Out the more popular Muscle Building Program reviews, Click Here.

Want Six Pack Abs? Follow These 5 Easy Steps

Want Six Pack Abs? Follow These 5 Easy Steps

Article by Todd Bowman

The truth about six pack abs revealed

Having six pack abs is something that just about every guy wants and each girl too. Girls love to see six pack abs on men and they themselves want to have a marginally toned down version of six pack abs. Let’s come clean, a hard powerful core and stomach is attractive to both sexes.

Making an attempt to get six pack abs is another issue all together. In order to get six pack abs you must do 2 things :

A) Lose the weight that’s sitting on top of your abdominal muscles B) reinforce your abs

If you are looking to lose pounds, there are numerous different ways to do this. I recommend doing the natural thing and not taking weight control tablets or doing stuff like Jenny Craig or NutriSystem. Let’s admit it, your body is smart enough and knows exactly what it need to and don’t need to consume right?

It’s important to do the right exercises for your gut. Doing the wrong exercises or perhaps doing the right ones in the wrong way can hurt your progress and even harm you.

So to shed some weight I’d like you to do the following. First checkout my article on the easiest way to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks.

Just remember, you’re different, you’re on the path to get those six pack abs that will give you the results you really want.We want to provide the tools necessary to do exactly that.

here are some pointers to getting those six pack abs :

1. Take enzymes during each meal. Plant based enzymes help you to digest more of what you eat. The more that you digest and eliminate the more weight you can lose.

2. Food combine correctly. Eat starches and proteins at different meals with a green salad. For instance, fish and a salad. Or rice and a salad. Trust me, try it for a week and you will see a massive difference in your energy levels and weight loss.

3. If you eat fruit, eat it in the morning on an empty stomach. Fruit takes only about 20 mins to pass through the gut. When you eat a piece of bread with fruit, that piece of bread usually takes about 4 hours to pass thru. Now the bread is keeping the fruit from passing out of the stomach causing it to ferment causing gas, bloating and the inability to use all the vitamins and minerals that are in that fruit. Try it, you may see.

4. Do not consume food too late. We recommend not eating past 8pm each night.

5. Drink plenty of fresh spring water. Avoid tap water it’s full of chemicals.

Now that we’ve gone over some ideas on dropping the kilos now we need to get into some workout guidelines in order to get those six pack abs.

Here are some ab workouts I like:

Bicycle Exercise

Captain’s Chair Leg Raise

Exercise Ball Crunch

Vertical Leg Crunch

Torso Track

Long Arm Crunch

Reverse Crunch

Full Vertical Crunch

Ab Rocker

Plank on Elbows and Toes

The intestinal muscles like the leg muscles can be worked out more frequently than other muscle groups like the arms back or chest. But it is crucial to switch up different ab exercise routines on a constant basis. Because you can do them much more often it is important to have lots of different ab exercise programmes open to you.

By the way, if you’re after the best workout program that will work for your body type, I highly suggest you read my No Nonsense Muscle Building Review.

Don’t forget your cardiovascular training. Why do you believe long distance runners and runners always appear to have that ripped stomach? It is due to the fact that when you run you naturally stretch the abdominal muscles as well as tighten them. Your core is stabilizing you on long runs and the constant stretching and tightening that runners do give them those six pack abs you’re on the lookout for.

Ensure that when you’re doing your ab exercise programmes that you concentrate intensly on your ab muscles. Truly focus in and get that raw burn that comes at the end of sets. Ab exercises are the simplest exercises to cheat on. It’s easy to go thru the motions and then pat yourself on the back for doing your set of crunches and then wonder three weeks later why it isn’t helping or changing.

When doing stomach exercises to get six pack abs your goal isn’t to gain pounds of muscle, your goal is to get that shredded and lean look. It’s more about reps than it is about using a large amount of weight during your exercises.

The day following doing any sets of ab exercises your stomach should be intensely sore. If your belly isn’t sore and wounding just a bit, you’re getting it wrong.
