athleanx.com Ever wonder why they’re called “love” handles when most every guy actually hates them? Well…if you’re one of the many that have no love for these flabby folds, take a few minutes to watch this circuit workout that you can start doing today to build ripped obliques and a muscular six pack stomach with minimal time investment. Look at some of the best bodies in pro sports and the one thing you’ll find in common with all these athletes is a ripped and muscular midsection. No six pack stomach is complete without an equally impressive set of obliques that bookends them. Even if you have a muscular chest, big triceps, big biceps, jacked shoulders, and massive legs…if you still have a chubby waist everything else seems to come off as less impressive. Get a set of cut obliques and you will start turning heads like my celebrity fitness clients do when they take their shirts off on the set. Jeff Cavaliere is the creator and founder of the athlean-X Training System. My featured tip uses weights in order to expedite achieving strong abdominal muscles in less time while using traditional crunches. You don’t have to spend enormous amounts of time doing situp routines if you use proper form and concentrate on using your abdominal muscles properly. Please give it a try. You will see results! Remember good form is the key and so is consistency. I never leave the gym without doing my ab work. A strong core will help your back as well if you suffer from back problems. Be careful when adding weights to your routine if you have any type of neck or back injury. You don’t want to make it worse. Start with light weights if you are new to using weights. So, I’ve been reading the Rodale ‘Six weeks to six pack abs’ book, and I was wondering if anyone had good hints/tips, and -especially- recipes. Food tends to be the spot I fail at, because I’m so scared of what I shouldn’t eat. I don’t eat anything.
I try to have either some Total cereal for break, or a smoothie. For snack (about 3 hours later) i have a banana, and two pieces of cheese. On lunch I have like a sandwich usually. For a secondary snack I have… Depends – Sometimes a banana, sometimes an apple. For dinner I have like some 90 second Uncle Bens rice, and some piece of meat.
Through-out the day I drink TONS of water, and some Diet Mountain Dew/Gatorade – However, starting today I will only drink water/Propel – Mainly propel. Any suggestions? I work construction 13 hours a day, and do the gym for 2 hours a day; So me not losing weight, much less getting a ‘washboard abs‘ going on, is baffling… Any help would be appreciated – Thanks.
